How much does it cost to join the club?
For members wishing to train regularily, membership fees are $250 for 12months, alternatively if you only want to paddle once per week you can join as a social member at a cost of $180 for 12months.  If two or more family members join there is a family discount available.

Do I need to be physically fit?
You will require a basic level of fitness which you can build on through our training programs. It is compusory that all members are competent swimmers and able to tread water.

Does the club provide tuition?
We provide comprehensive training through our  "Smart Start"  program and have accredited coaches on hand for individual tuition.

What equipment will I need?
The club will provide a paddle for you to use for training, however you will need to purchase your own paddle within six months of joining. Other than that, all you need is a hat, a water bottle and a desire for adventure!

Can I join as a social member and then become a full member at a later date?
Yes, if you would like to train harder and more often than once per  week you can become a full member which also entitles you to compete in regattas.

Do I have to compete in Regattas?
No, it is not compulsory for members to compete, however we are part of the Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) and we encouge members to experience the thrill and adrenalin rush of competitive racing.
